Montolieu and Le Cammazou Bas are approximately twenty minutes from Carcassonne and from the Autoroute A61 at Junction 22 near Bram.

The easiest route by road is from St. Malo, which takes about 8 hours. From Calais allow 12 hours, a long time to be driving, but is quite possible if you share the task (the MG and it's two occupants you can see in the locality section, drove in one go ... with one person driving all the way from Calais without any problems). It is not however always the cheapest way to get to us.

RyanAir fly from Stanstead direct into Carcassonne and this is becoming a very popular way of getting here, with car hire available from a number of companies at the airport. This can help to remove that long drive home when you least want to do it at the end of your holiday !
